OAFY update

Following on from our successful work in environmental campaigning, members of OAFY are currently conducting research into previously unknown  energy and transportation solutions and the art of animation. With global events, as always, snapping at our heels, OAFY is now pouring its resources into satirical and practical projects- thru any material means possible. Our hope is to develop our work on the philosophical nature of our group, but to proceed with practical activity driven as always by a sense of immanent catastrophe. Toward this end the temporary Monuments division are contemplating their next Idyll to forgotten events.

Dexter Deacon is currently on leave in his home city of San Francisco. During some casual readings on isotopes undertaken during the aforementioned sabbatical he has stumbled upon a review of our Temporary Monuments subdivision. The prestigious European art review ARTe' Contempto has granted the necessary permissions for us to post this review on our bulletin, in the not to distant future.

Rumors are also circulating that elements of our animation folklore collection will be placed on display in the ethnographic section of the Discovery play area at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, accompanied with early examples of  Old School Video Art. These rumors are at present unsubstantiated, but would be an exciting addition to a year already bristling with possibilities.
